AxKit installation problem with Boehm GC library (GC_malloc functio...
Hi there,
I have SuSE 8.1 Int2 installed with Apache. AxKit is not as rpm for SuSE
so I tried to install it from source tarball.
I had to download a lot of another libraries and one of them was Orchard-C.
When I do ./configure in Orchard-C I get message thet there is no
GC_malloc function in -lgc so that it needs Boehm GC library:
checking for GC_malloc in -lgc... no
configure: error: Boehm GC library is required
I downloaded GC 6.1 and I compiled and installed it.
GC_malloc is in libgc
libgc.a and libgc.so are in /usr/local/lib
/usr/local/lib is in /etc/ld.so.conf
So what is the problem? Does anybody know how to solve it?
